MY ORIGINAL INTAKE INFORMATION:
Hi, I'm Chewie, and I need a new family to call my own. I need a younger, active family who can help work with my obedience skills which no one ever taught me!. I need to run and play, but I still need structure and help with being polite with strangers and other dogs when I need to be (I can be a jumper). I have lived with children and other dogs, but I do better with dogs which are my own size and energy level. I am not approved for apartment or condo living since I am known to be a talker and not a quiet sort of soul, especially when I want attention. Hey, a guy's got to do what a guy's got to do when people are not listening to what I am telling them! With patience and training, I am going to be a great housemate. I just need someone to let me in on the secret to speaking a language that lets me communicate what I need and what they need.

The medical and custodial care of the many Cockers in our care is tremendous. More and more dogs are abandoned with urgent and serious medical issues. We are committed to providing the best possible care for these forgotten friends. Unfortunately, the mounting high costs are beginning to limit the number of dogs we are able to take into our program. Even if you cannot adopt or foster one of our current adoptable dogs, please consider making a donation. The Cocker Spaniel Adoption Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization, and your donations are entirely tax deductible. Click the Donate menu at the top of the screen.
