MY ORIGINAL INTAKE INFORMATION:
Hello, my name is Coco. My owners felt that they could no longer afford the medication that I need for allergies so they took me to a vet hospital to be euthanized. The vet hospital felt I was too healthy and had a lot of life to live so they gained legal custody of me to save my life. The vet hospital asked CSAC to help find me a new home. I am extremely loving to people, however I DO NOT like other dogs. I don't want to see them or be around them. I am the queen of my castle. My new family should know how to deal with allergies. My ears and skin show signs of chronic infections so I have been suffering with allergies for a long time. My new family should also understand my issues with other dogs and make me their princess. Right now, I am in the caring hands of one of the great Vets that work with the CSAC. They are checking me out and making sure I am healthy. Hopefully, I will find my new family that will turn me into a happy, cherished family pet again. Hope to see you soon.

The medical and custodial care of the many Cockers in our care is tremendous. More and more dogs are abandoned with urgent and serious medical issues. We are committed to providing the best possible care for these forgotten friends. Unfortunately, the mounting high costs are beginning to limit the number of dogs we are able to take into our program. Even if you cannot adopt or foster one of our current adoptable dogs, please consider making a donation. The Cocker Spaniel Adoption Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization, and your donations are entirely tax deductible. Click the Donate menu at the top of the screen.
